Haiti

Since I was 6 years old I wanted to be a medical missionary in a third world country, but at the time, really had no idea what that meant. But God had put that seed in my heart.

I fell in love with Haiti in December of 2007 after my first semester of college. I went with a group from Frontier Camp, in east Texas, where I have worked or attended for the past 11 years. They were working with Haitian pastor, Gersan Valcin, to plant a camp called Jacob's Well, in Limbe, Haiti and I went on that trip. That's where it all began.

I lived at Jacob's Well Camp during the spring of 2011, and learned more than I ever thought possible. I fell in love with the people there, I learned the language, and I made friends that I will never forget. God used me in the lives of many Haitians, but he used so many Haitians to bless my life as well. I can't wait till the day I go back full-time!
